Stained glass

Creating traditional stained glass is a real art and we’ve been making and mending stained glass, some of it centuries old, and leaded lights for many years.

Contemporary techniques now allow us to create stained glass effects on toughened and double-glazed glass, ideal for modern windows and door panels, and even splashbacks.

Story of a splashback

Our hand-painted glass splashbacks are very popular, but this client had something rather different in mind for the kitchen in her Deal home.

She’d discovered a pattern that ‘spoke to her’ and asked if we could create a splashback in a similar style using her neutral colour palette.

Using a combination of hand-painting and contemporary ‘stained’ glass techniques, which can be applied to toughened glass (or double-glazed), Teresa brought the client’s vision to life.

“I just love it and it’s such a talking point, drawing admiring comments and lots of questions about how it was made and by whom from visitors to our home.”
